Origins

Right Nice Stuff started out in Spring 2016 as Northern Craft. Sean & Carley set about making the best craft fair around and pretty quickly succeeded in doing so. They started dabbling in merch, creating events that focused on pins, t-shirts, art prints, tattoos and more. It was more for fun, and to work with a bunch of talented creatives.

During the pandemic, our in person events came to an abrupt halt so we decided to make a line of merch. Things got busy pretty quickly and we decided to increase our output on that end. Events came back and we started to juggle but it became clear that running events and selling clothing under the same name was no longer sensible. So we split them up. The clothing became Right Nice Stuff, a nod to our Northern roots, and the events was Northern Craft.

In 2023, Carley left to have more time for her life in Cambridge with her family and to concentrate on her career. Things have gone from strength to strength on both fronts and have become the focus of Sean’s career ever since.

About Sean

Sean has over a decade of experience in the print industry, largely in screen printing and the production of vinyl stickers. It’s apt that these two things led him to Right Nice Stuff, Northern Craft and No Fuss Print Co, a sticker shop based in Leeds that he co-owns. You should check it out.

As a commercial artist he travelled the world for a decade showcasing his artwork to the unsuspecting public, and he even had a solo art show in a renowned street art gallery in Chicago. He has created artwork for clients including Spotify, SXSW, Chicago Bulls, Take It Easy Lab, Wall Of Sound, Threadless, Arctic Monkeys, Death Cab For Cutie, The National, Fleet Foxes, Belle & Sebastian and more.

Born in Bolton in 1982, he is a long suffering Spurs fan, his favourite movie is The Empire Strikes Back and his favourite band are The Decemberists. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife, two children & dog Chip.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my order?

We aim to ship within one working day of purchase, but as this is a one person business it’s not always possible. If you are looking to get your order for a certain date, please bear this in mind.

We’ll email you when your order has dispatched. From current Royal Mail guidance, if you don’t receive your order within four weeks - get in touch.

We offer an upgrade to a faster, tracked service for all orders for a small fee. If you don’t select this option, your order will not be trackable and can take up to 10 working days from dispatch.

How do the tees fit?

From personal experience we would say the tees run slightly small as they are fitted and pre shrunk. If you are in-between sizes, we recommend to go up a size unless you like a tighter fit. We have a size measurement guide on each t-shirt product page.

Can I get free shipping?

We offer free shipping on UK orders of £50 & over. To get this, choose 1st class tracked shipping at checkout & use the code FREESHIPPING

I need to return my purchase, what do I do?

If it’s within 30 days and the item is in the same condition as we sent it, we’re happy to accept your returns and refund or exchange for a different size.

Post your purchase back to us at this address - Right Nice Stuff, Unit 2A, 30-34 Aire Street, Leeds, LS1 4HT - make sure to add a note in with your order so we know who it is from.

The item I want is out of stock, how do I get one of these?

We are always reprinting our core items so items shouldn’t be out of stock for too long. Get in touch and we’ll have more info.
